One of my personal goals is to visit all 50 states. I’d say I’m off to a pretty good start (29 states and counting!). The most recent addition to the list of states that I’ve visited is Pennsylvania. My sister and I went down for Labor Day Weekend, which was quite a roller coaster of a trip. It was mostly good, though, and I have to say that the people we met there were amazingly kind and generous and wonderful.
Oh, and the Allegheny Mountains are STUNNING. Seriously. I might have to go back just to do some more hiking there. My sister caught a small mouth bass in the Allegheny River, we saw deer, and climbed down through some rocks at one of the lookout points in the Allegheny National Forest.
