I know that I haven’t posted at all in a few weeks. Sorry about that. I have been in the process of completely re-doing my bedroom. I have a small room with a small closet, and for a very long time I have struggled with using it efficiently. After much thought and planning, I cleared almost everything out of the room and started again from scratch.
My closet is now a small office space. My new bed has storage under the mattress, enabling me to use a stand alone wardrobe since I can now store winter clothes during summer and summer clothes in the winter. My bobbleheads and other knick-knacks have moved from my bookcase onto dedicated shelving, so my bookcase is back to being a bookcase. Well, aside from the center shelf, which is now being used for my jewelry.
I’m not completely done with this project, but I can see the end. I still need to bring in my shoe storage, hem the new curtains (and make some tie-backs for them), and get my makeup organized. I should probably get the new door on my room soon, too. That said, I will be going back to my regular Sunday posts on June 2nd.
