Aka: someone who shall remain forever nameless left her backpack on the train.
That same someone has reported it lost to the proper authorities. But she doesn’t actually expect to see that computer or address book ever again.
But!!! The cloud is a marvelous thing and there was nothing in that mystery person’s backpack that she cannot live without and she didn’t do anything stupid like injure herself whilst figuring out how to report it lost/try to get it back.
On a completely unrelated note, can any of my dear friends and family who want postcards please email or text me your addresses? I seem to have misplaced my address book.
UPDATE: backpack and all its contents have been returned to me! All is well!
