Huron. Ontario. Michigan. Erie. Superior. The five Great Lakes spell out HOMES, which I’ve always found fitting, because Michigan, the Great Lake State, is my home. I love this state and I love these lakes.
As much fun as it is to take off to different countries, it’s hard to find a place quieter and more peaceful than the beaches along Lake Superior.
Camping in the state parks along Lake Michigan one of my favorite things to do in the spring and fall, even into early winter. Sunsets here are more magical than any I’ve seen over the ocean.
